Just finished 1929 by Andrew Ross Sorkin.

One of the things I appreciate most about studying history is the perspective it provides. While the world today is very different from the one described in this book, the themes of human behavior, decision-making, leadership, optimism, and uncertainty are timeless.

This was a fascinating look at a pivotal moment in American history and the individuals who found themselves navigating it in real time. It's a reminder that understanding history isn't just about looking backward. It's about gaining perspective, asking better questions, and appreciating the lessons that shaped the world we live in today.
