Just returned from an incredible few days in Orlando at the Gateway Financial Partners National Conference, and I’m coming home energized, inspired, and excited about what’s ahead!

One of the things I love most about being a financial advisor is that there’s always more to learn and new ways to better serve the people who put their trust in me.

This year’s conference focused heavily on the future of financial advice, including artificial intelligence, innovative financial planning technology, investment strategies, and ways to create an even better client experience.

My biggest takeaway? Technology is changing our industry, but the value of a personal relationship has never been greater.

Financial planning isn’t just about investments or account balances. It’s about helping families retire with confidence, navigate life’s unexpected challenges, make smart decisions, and enjoy the lives they’ve worked so hard to build.

I’m especially excited about the new tools and resources Gateway is bringing to our practice. They’ll allow my team and me to work more efficiently, provide more personalized service, and spend more time doing what matters most: building relationships and helping our clients reach their goals.

I’m also reminded how fortunate I am to be part of a firm where advisors genuinely collaborate, share ideas, and help one another succeed. That collective knowledge and support directly benefits the families we serve.

To my clients, thank you for the trust you place in me. And to those I haven’t had the opportunity to work with yet, I’d love to show you what a modern, relationship-focused approach to financial planning can look like.

What we’ve just seen is one of the fastest recoveries since the 2020 rebound—and it’s a perfect real-time example of something I tell clients all the time:

This is why.

Discipline doesn’t feel good in the moment.
It rarely does.
But it works.

Stay steady. Stay invested. Let the plan do its job.

The rebound over the past two weeks has been faster than the one following the Covid market crash in 2020 or when tariffs roiled markets in 2025.

Ten years ago, I took a leap into this business not knowing exactly where it would lead—just knowing I wanted to help people make better decisions with their money and their lives.

A decade later, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside so many incredible families through some of their biggest moments—retirement, growth, setbacks, and everything in between. I’m grateful for every conversation, every ounce of trust, and every lesson along the way.

And in a twist only life can write… today also marks Cash’s second birthday. 🐾
He’s been my daily reminder to slow down, be present, and enjoy the little things—something I probably didn’t appreciate enough when I started this journey at 32.

Ten years in, I’m just getting started. Better systems, better perspective, and a whole lot more purpose.

Grateful for where I’ve been. Fired up for where I’m going.

Over the last year I’ve been quietly building.

Investing in better technology. Strengthening systems. Expanding the way I serve clients.

What excites me most is the direction things are heading. With the right infrastructure, the right tools, and a planning-first approach, a practice can grow in ways that simply weren’t possible a few years ago.

I’m energized about the road ahead and the opportunity to serve more families at a high level.
