For today’s Feature Friday, we have the pleasure of introducing another intern that joined our team earlier this year: Sebastian Naranjo! Sebastian has been supporting our financial planning team, and has received great feedback on his work with us so far from his team members.

When asked what promoted him to join Heritage Wealth Advisors & the financial services industry, Sebastian says he is fascinated by investing and financial planning: “I want to help families make sound financial decisions that improve their future.”

Sebastian will be a Senior at Gonzaga this fall in Spokane, studying finance and accounting. Before joining the team, he worked at a Mexican restaurant in Ballard during his summers, where he “got to eat delicious food every day.”

Outside of work, Sebastian’s favorite hobby is running. “I’m training for my second marathon in October,” he says. “I also love golfing, fishing, and snowboarding.”

Sebastian’s favorite place he has traveled to is Florence, Italy. “I just got back from studying abroad [there] for a semester,” he says, and he enjoyed seeing new sights with friends.

We’re glad to have you on the team, Sebastian! We look forward to seeing where this experience takes you.

Happy Feature Friday! We’re excited to introduce one of our new interns for this year—meet Alex Findlay. Alex is a a rising junior at CU Boulder (Go Buffs!) and is supporting our team in a variety of capacities.

“I am excited to join HWA and the financial services industry because financial literacy is something my family has stressed to me,” says Alex. “And since it is a lifelong task, I want to help others in any way I can.”

In his personal life, Alex is a huge soccer player and fan—“I’m loving the World Cup,” he says. He supports the Sounders in MLS and Arsenal in the Premier League.

One of Alex’s favorite inspirational quotes is from his dad, which is a set of three rules: “One, always use the right tool for the job. Two, showing up is half the battle, especially in person. Three, you never know until you ask/try.”

For today’s Feature Friday, we’re glad to introduce one of our newest team members—Ava Jaksha!

Ava joined our team earlier this year as a Client Service Specialist, working from our offices in Bellevue, Washington. She says her favorite part about the HWA culture so far is how supportive and welcoming everybody is: “From the start, I’ve felt encouraged and included by the team.” When asked what she’s looking forward to most in working with HWA, Ava says she’s most excited for the opportunity to continue growing professionally while learning from such a talented team.

“Outside of work, I love going on runs,” says Ava. “Running allows me to clear my mind and enjoy the outdoors.” Her family also has two English bulldogs, Georgia and Maverick, both pictured here.
