Seeking an individual to fill an open position working within our client accounting services department. Our office offers a range of accounting and tax services tailored specifically to meet each clients needs. We are looking for a motivated individual to be responsible for assisting a variety of clients with their accounting needs.

Responsibilities:
- Post transactions and journal entries to maintain updated client financials
- Review financials with client to help them understand financial trends
- Prepare and process payroll for clients
- File sales and payroll returns for clients

Required Experience and Education:
• Preferred (3) to five (5) years of experience in public accounting or experience performing accounting services
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting
• CPA license strongly preferred. If not currently a CPA, candidate should be CPA eligible and working toward obtaining CPA license
• Proficient in Microsoft excel, word, and strong communication skills

Job Requirements:
• Prepares and reviews tax returns and performs other accounting functions as necessary
• Exceeds client deadlines
• Assists in project management by assigning and tracking projects
• Reviews staff working papers/tax returns
• Ensures the data entry is accurate, attributing to a high-quality work product
• Creates working relationships with clients to develop trusted relationships by communicating results of tax returns and answering questions and concerns the clients may have

Other Responsibilities:
• Encouraged to join community organizations in order to assist in business development opportunities
• Other duties as requested

Qualifications:
• Required Bachelors degree or higher level of education
• Preferred 3-5 years: Experience in Public Accounting or tax preparation services

Fraud Sightings 👀

KWSB has received an alert from Santa that one of his elves has turned to the dark side and is hiding out in our office! 😲

This crooked elf is named FRAUD! Fraud has embezzled over 100k in donations that went toward materials for building toys. Santa has asked us to find Fraud and collect back as much money as we can! Whoever collects the most money will win a prize from Santa himself!

Fraud was first seen showcasing some of his money while sitting on our Christmas tree. Stay tuned for more updates on sightings of Fraud!
