Big business, small business, Employee Owned, Mom & Pops.
Truck drivers, Ranchers, Nurses, Insurance Sales & Internet Providers.
Though their services are vastly different, their similarity is one in the same.
They all showed up to help.
They heard the call from a community intent on trudging forward out of a debilitating crisis that effected us all. In a time of uncertainty, frustration and fear, hope still remained.
This year's Hells Canyon Days is a testament to our faith in each other, and what we can accomplish when we work together.

As January 31st fast approaches, many small businesses are clamoring to obtain the necessary information from their vendors to make that 1099-misc deadline.

Helpful tips for a less stressful January 2020:
**REQUIRE a form W9 be filled out BEFORE any work by a contract worker for whom you will be issuing a 1099-misc is performed.**

What do you do if they refuse?
"If a vendor refuses to provide you with its TIN, you must begin backup withholding of 28 percent of any payments made to that vendor until the vendor provides you with a Form W-9 and the missing information. You can be subject to severe penalties for failing to withhold and submit backup withholding."

That's right.The IRS then makes it's YOUR responsibility to collect that tax on their behalf.
