Richard A Mamer CPA SC is looking for a full-time ambitious Staff Accountant. As part of our team, you will be working closely with clients in assisting them with accounting and tax solutions. Although duties may be deadline-driven, we encourage our Accountants to progress in their abilities and to act independently in their approach.
Our firm works with individuals and businesses to provide traditional services including financial statement preparation, income tax preparation, and tax planning. We are located in Northcentral Wisconsin.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA certification strongly preferred
Minimum of 3-4 years experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Organizational and time management skills
Position Responsibilities/Duties:
Establish close relationships with clients to build working relationships
Provide exceptional customer service
Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for small businesses or individuals
Answer questions and provide future tax planning to clients
Check data input or verify totals on forms prepared by others to detect errors in arithmetic, data entry, or procedures
Interview clients to obtain additional information on taxable income and deductible expenses and allowances
