Tax Season is approaching quickly! New for 2021, get together all charitable deductions, even if you don't itemize deductions you can still take up to $600 deductions if married filing joint or $300 for any other status.
Also if you get any letter from IRS, keep them for processing 2021 returns. Advanced Child Tax Credit, 3rd Stimulus Check, and Advanced EITC. It goes without saying, any and all other letters make your tax preparer aware of before your return is processed.
Should be a great tax season, I haven't got an official start date yet, but its a good time to start to get things organized, so we can get them done!

Due to the payment of two round of stimulus checks (recovery rebate credits) by the IRS and some additional tax legislation to update (EITC income years) the IRS has had to push out the start of processing tax returns by 2 to 3 weeks to Friday, February 12, 2021

Well Tax Season is here again! I hope everyone is well, and getting their stuff together to get tax returns done.. I.R.S. will begin accepting returns on January 27, 2021. Since most of us filing are taking the standard deduction, there is some news for us. Even though you take the standard deduction, you can deduct an additional amount, for up to $300.00 for charitable contributions.

Hey good morning everyone, I got some new information from I.R.S. this morning. I.R.S. was shut down until June 24, 2020. If you filed a return in late March or after, and you had a change of status from your prior return, i.e. Single filer to Married filer. Chances are those returns were being held and started processing them on June 25, 2020. So if you didn't get that return, hang in there they are being processed and on the way.

We are getting close to April 15! Even though the filing date has been extended to July 15, I will be doing extensions for my clients who haven't filed, that will get us out to October 15. So if you need and extension give me call!

Good evening everyone. The latest filing deadline date to move is Delaware. The date now in July 15, 2020. I hope everyone is hanging in there, this all will be over before long.

I hope everything is well with you and your family. Yesterday, the President extended the Tax Return Deadline to 15 July 202. Its a good thing! If you owe taxes, you have until the July 15, to file and pay without any additional penalty or interest.
