Monday, Aug. 31 is the deadline for Milwaukee County residents impacted by April’s storms and flooding to apply for FEMA individual assistance, federal disaster unemployment assistance and physical property damage loans.
Those interested in disaster assistance or loans can still apply online, over the phone or in-person.
The county’s Disaster Recovery Center, located in the bottom of the Northwest Health Center at 7630 W. Mill Road is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 28. The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Business Recovery Center on Wisconsin Avenue closed on Friday.
