We recently hosted our monthly NMTC West Town Hall, a meaningful opportunity to recognize Award Year achievements and celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together as a district along with our advisors and their teams. Shout out to our Managing Director Taylor Jandik for emceeing the gathering and getting the team energized!

This month’s gathering was especially meaningful. We featured catering from J’s Mississippi Kitchen, owned by our very own Edwin Young’s mother in honor of Juneteenth; bringing together a powerful celebration of culture, community, and incredible food.

We’re also excited to deepen our community impact in a more meaningful way. Beginning in 2027, we will be focusing our efforts on the Pinky Swear Foundation. As part of this transition, we welcomed Adam Faitek, Executive Director, to share more about the organization’s mission. We’re proud to support their orange envelopes initiative; care packages filled with essentials like food and gas gift cards, providing critical support to families at the beginning of their cancer journey.

Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to celebration, inclusion, and making a real difference.

Join us in celebrating Teresa’s 10-year anniversary with Northwestern Mutual Twin Cities West! 🎉

Teresa has been the heart of our office – creating a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone feels valued. She goes above and beyond to celebrate others, remembers all the little things, and brings genuine care to every interaction.

From proudly showcasing her artwork in our office to earning the Linda Lange award, Teresa’s impact is incredibly special. When accepting her anniversary flowers, she shared that this is the best culture and group of people she’s worked with – and we couldn’t agree more that it’s because of her contributions to our team.

Although, what we really appreciate most about Teresa is who she is every day: thoughtful, kind, and full of love for life.

Your lunch break next Monday could sweeten your life with four paws!

On Monday, we are partnering with to host a pet adoption event at Hills Office Center with Cities Pet Rescue. They are bringing adoptable dogs, cats, and kittens that were saved from high-risk situations and are now ready for new homes.

If you are thinking about adopting, or if you just want to learn more about the foster and adoption process, stop by the lawn to speak with the volunteers. They will provide all the resources and steps you need to get started.

• When: Monday, June 1 from 12 to 2 PM
• Where: 701 Xenia Ave S, Golden Valley, MN 55416 (back lawn, across the pond)

Mother's Day is extra special in our office, as we are a community of strong women leaders and hard-working moms. We had a blast celebrating all the moms and motherly figures at NMTCW, treating everyone to a catered breakfast and freshly picked roses for the moms. Our culture prides itself in uplifting working parents and believing strongly in the work-life balance so that we can show up in every facet of our lives. Thank you to all the moms that continue to bring energy, devotion, and abundance to our community!
