Please help us welcome Shannon Townley to the YCA Family!!! Well, officially! Shannon has been with us since the launch, just in a different capacity. She has helped us through so many situations, we just knew that one day we would be officially on the same team and that day has come!

Shannon brings more than 25 years of financial services experience to her role as Director of Operations at Yarbrough Capital Advisors. Throughout her career, she has learned that exceptional service begins with trust, thoughtful communication, and making each interaction feel easy and personal.

Shannon helps keep daily operations running smoothly so our team can focus on what matters most: caring for our clients. She understands that behind every question or request is a person who deserves attention, clear answers, and dependable support.

Outside the office, Shannon enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time at the beach. She and her husband have four grown children and one grandson, and time with family is an important part of her life.

Born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, Aaron is a proud McNeese State University alumnus who brings nearly five years of experience in finance and public accounting to Yarbrough Capital Advisors. He is passionate about helping clients pursue their financial goals and plan for a confident, secure future.

Outside the office, Aaron is a devoted husband to his wife, Katy, and a proud father to their two sons, Liam and James. He enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and cheering on the McNeese Cowboys, Chicago Cubs, New Orleans Saints, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Aaron is also a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and, together with Katy, the Krewe de la Famille Mardi Gras krewe.

Retirement isn’t just about building the biggest number you possibly can.

It’s about building a life where you have the freedom to experience what comes next.

To watch the sunset from somewhere new.
To take the trip you always talked about.
To spend more time with the people who matter.
To wake up and decide what you want to do instead of what you have to do.

Yes, the numbers matter. Planning matters. Investing matters.

But wealth is simply the tool.

The real goal of retirement is having the freedom, time, and resources to experience the rest of your life on your terms.

Because at the end of the day, a successful retirement shouldn’t just look good on a statement.

It should feel good living it.
