The family behind Chick-fil-A joins Forbes' ranking of the wealthiest families in the U.S.

The heirs of S. Truett Cathy (d. 2014) own the $10.3 billion (2025 revenue) fast-food giant. Truett founded the chain in an Atlanta-area mall in 1967. It now operates more than 3,000 restaurants, mostly franchised, across 48 states.

Netflix announced a 10-for-1 forward stock split, aiming to make its shares more accessible to employees and retail investors. Shareholders of record as of November 10, 2025, will receive nine additional shares for each share held, with distribution scheduled for November 14. Trading on a split-adjusted basis will begin on November 17.

This marks Netflix’s third stock split since going public in 2002. The company’s stock closed at $1,089 on October 30 and rose in after-hours trading following the announcement. Netflix is currently among a small group of S&P 500 companies with a share price exceeding $1,000.
