After several weeks of headaches from Facebook, we have had to create a new page for the Northeast Chapter so we can be more involved with events through social media. Please take a moment to follow our new page for all upcoming social and CPE events!

It’s finally the week of our third annual Scholarship Co****le Tournament! Come out and join us Thursday for some complimentary Pizza and Beer and show off your bag tossing skills at the Flying Heart Brewery. Pretty easy way to give back to local accounting students too!

We’re also working on some CPE opportunites in the near future with ULM and Lunch & Learns are in the works too so keep an eye out for those events soon. We look forward to seeing everyone this Thursday!

🎼Monroe Symphony is looking for a volunteer treasurer. It only gets busy about 4 times a year when they have their concerts. The work is recording the ticket sell revenue and cutting the checks to the musicians. Interested? Contact Katie Wilder at (318) 381-5286.

You won’t always find us sitting behind a desk! A few of us can be found running with Fleet Feet Monroe as part of their community Pub Run and definitely encourage any other runners to come join us and stay active. Katie, Ronnie and Eddi might be leading the pack but Hampton will ensure that you won’t be in last place!

The Pub Run is the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 6pm. Check out their page to keep up with the community activities!
