😭💔Some people enter your life as clients but leave a lasting place in your heart as friends.

Today, we lay to rest a very special man, Mr. Earl Hawkins.

They say you never forget your first real estate closing, and Mr. Hawkins was my very first homebuyer. But he was so much more than my first client. He became a true friend to me and my family.

Years ago, he celebrated our grand opening with us, and over time, we continued celebrating life’s milestones together. He built a special bond with my mom, my dad, and me. He wasn’t just someone we did business with. He was someone we genuinely cared about.

What makes his passing even harder is knowing that my mom and I stopped by his home the very day he passed away. I had been wondering why he wasn’t answering his phone, never imagining that he was no longer able to. We had no idea that day would become such a heartbreaking memory.

I never imagined that the next time I would see Mr. Hawkins would be at Rouse Clayton Funeral Home, saying our final goodbyes.

My heart aches knowing he won’t have the opportunity to create all the additional memories he had hoped for in his home. But I am forever grateful that I got to be part of some of the beautiful memories he leaves behind.

Real estate has always been about more than houses to me. It’s about people, relationships, and the lives we have the privilege of touching along the way. Mr. Hawkins reminded me of that in such a meaningful way.

To his family, please accept my deepest and most heartfelt condolences. Thank you for allowing us to share in a small part of his journey.

And to Mr. Hawkins, one final ROLL TIDE! 🐘

You will truly be missed, my friend😭

✍🏾A little love letter to 🍁Autumn / Fall🍂

For those who know me, you know October is my absolute favorite month of the year (with Spring holding a special place in my heart too, of course!

There’s just something about Fall—the cooler weather, the cute clothes, all the yummy comfort foods and recipes, and the togetherness that comes with fall activities and making memories with the people we love 🤎 And there’s something special about entering the final quarter of the year, too. A chance to enjoy what’s here, reflect on what’s passed, and make the most of what’s still ahead.

And what better way to welcome October than with a fall-themed breakfast with my mini-me?!🍁🥞 She loved it, which made it that much sweeter.
