Identity theft tax fraud topped the list, and telephone scams were added this year because the IRS says it has recently seen an increase in phone scams across the country.

The April 15 tax-filing deadline is fast approaching. Some taxpayers may find that they need more time to file their tax returns. If you need extra time, you can get an automatic six-month extension from the IRS.

Thought you could now file your taxes for 2012? Maybe not. Here is a list of forms that will not be accepted for a few more weeks:

The following tax forms will be accepted by the IRS in late February or into March after updating forms and completing programming and testing of its processing systems. A specific date will be announced in the near future.
