Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of sales and use tax regulations, experience with Worker's Compensation audits, and proficiency in end-of-year tax filings. This role is essential to ensure compliance and optimize our tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Use Tax Management:
- Review and analyze sales and use tax regulations to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns accurately and on time.
- Conduct audits and manage any disputes with tax authorities regarding sales and use tax.
2. Worker's Compensation Audits:
- Oversee and coordinate Worker’s Compensation audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and presented.
- Liaise with auditing agencies and respond to audit inquiries effectively.
- Analyze audit results and implement necessary adjustments or corrective actions.
3. End of Year Tax Filings:
- Prepare and review end-of-year tax filings, including federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting, minimizing potential liabilities.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and accountants as needed.
4. Compliance and Reporting:
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations that may affect the organization.
- Monitor tax compliance initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements.
