Another Tax Season in the Books (with 5 hours to spare)!!

And just like that… the books are closed for another year (well with the exceptions of some extensions).

To each and every one of my clients—thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your businesses, your finances, and your stories. It’s never just numbers… it’s your hard work, your growth, your sacrifices, and your vision.

This season required long hours, late nights, and a whole lot of grace—but because of YOU, it was another successful year. I’m truly grateful to serve such an amazing community.

Now… if you know a tax professional, continue to check on them to—make sure they’ve eaten, had some water, and maybe even stepped outside for a moment. We made it! 🙌🏾

**Hey everyone —quick Tax Day check-in!**

If you’re in Tennessee (Cheatham, Chester, Clay, Davidson, Decatur, Dickson, Hardeman, Hardin, Henderson, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Maury, McNairy, Perry, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Trousdale, Wayne, Williamson, and Wilson counties), you’ve been given a little extra grace — your deadline is **May 22, 2026** (this includes FAE & business taxes).

Mississippi family: your deadline is June 8, 2026.

For everyone else… **TODAY IS THE DAY!!**

Take a moment, breathe, and don’t stress — just make sure you connect with your tax professional, get your return filed, or submit that extension.

And don’t forget to check in on your favorite tax professional today. Make sure they’ve eaten, had some water, and stretched their legs too!!

Monday is the deadline for Tennesseans to have their personal and business taxes completed!! DO NOT DELAY!! Come and see us!!

April 2025 Severe Storm Relief
The IRS announced the entire state of Tennessee affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding that began on April 2, 2025 qualify for tax relief. These taxpayers now have until Nov. 3, 2025, to file various federal individual and business tax returns and make tax payments. The extended deadline applies to individual income tax returns and payments normally due on April 15, 2025.

The November 3, 2025 extension also applies to 2024 contributions to IRAs and health savings accounts for eligible taxpayers and quarterly estimated tax payments normally due on April 15, June 16 and Sept. 15, 2025.

The OFFICIAL TAX DEADLINE IS TOMORROW!! Have you completed your tax returns?

TN Tax Filers now have until Nov 3rd to complete their tax return and pay tax fees. If you waiting until April 15th, please do no wait until Nov 3rd to complete them. But no judgement…

If you have to pay in, now you have more time to see what you owe and pay over time versus have to pay at the time of filing.

Following the federal court decision on February 18, 2025, BOI reporting requirements under the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) are back in effect. FinCEN has extended the deadline to March 21, 2025, for most reporting companies to submit the BOI report.

New BOI Reporting Deadline:

Companies formed on or before February 19, 2025, the new reporting deadline to file an initial, updated, and or corrected BOI report is March 21, 2025.

Companies formed after February 19, 2025, will have 30 days from the formation date to submit the BOI report.

Tax Season is HERE!!! The IRS week begin accepting returns on January 27th, 2025. Make sure you have all documentations in order to file. No professional tax preparer we’ll be able to complete your returns with your last check stub. We must have your W-2 or 1099.

IRS announces special payments going this month to 1 million taxpayers who did not claim 2021 Recovery Rebate Credit; encourages non-filers about approaching deadline to claim credits.
