As we gain more insight into the widespread impact of these fires our hearts are breaking for those who are suffering from great losses, for those who are still making wine in the midst of the chaos, for the heroic efforts of all those who are taking care of people and property, for the resilience of the people and the spirit of this place.

Since the Glass Fire erupted in Napa Valley, it’s caused devastation to the region’s esteemed wineries, including Chateau Boswell, Burgess and Newton. So far, at least 12 wineries have suffered structural damage — and it may not be over yet.
