Being recognized alongside 35 other Nashville companies pushing boundaries is humbling and inspiring. I am so grateful to clients, team members, friends and family who have been supportive in this journey.

The awards are October 20th at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. I'm ready to celebrate alongside Nashville's entrepreneurial community. 36 companies chosen, each solving real problems and building sustainable businesses. Way to go Nashville and congrats to all the finalists!

Individual Returns
- If you want to file by April 15th, the deadline to have all documents to us is March 15th. Documents delivered to us after March 15th may require us to file an extension for you.

Partnership and S Corps
- For filing deadlines of March 15th, the deadline to have all documents to us is this Monday, February 17th.

If you would like us to go ahead and file an extension for you, just let us know!

REMINDER... Quarterly estimated tax payments are due this coming Monday, September 16th!

You can make your payment at the IRS Direct Payment website here... https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay

- Click "Make a Payment."
- Select your reason
- Select your form type
- Select your tax year

*Make sure you select "Estimated Tax – 1040ES - 2024" to apply payment to the correct year.

*YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY USING A PRIOR YEAR FILED TAX RETURN INFORMATION

Meet Our Team...

Jessica Peacock Wilmoth – Jessica has 20+ years of experience in the tax and accounting industry starting with Peacock Financial (sold in 2015), a business she owned with her mother, Joyce Peacock, EA, CFP. She then joined the tax department at Wiles + Taylor, CPA’s working with many widely known musicians. In October 2018, Jessica founded Wilmoth Financial, helping numerous clients lower their tax liabilities and be successful in their endeavors. Holding a B.B.A. in Finance since 2006, Jessica has also successfully passed the IRS Annual Filing Season Program tests for the years 2020-2023.

Layla Boling – After 20+ years in corporate finance and accounting, Layla transitioned her career path and became part of Wilmoth Financial in September 2022. She works alongside Jessica, assisting with tax preparation and client accounting. Layla, a CPA with a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin, is further enhancing her tax expertise through on-the-job learning and self-study, with plans to pursue the Enrolled Agent exam.

Debbie Neely – Debbie brings 10+ years of expertise from her tenure in tax and accounting firms in Nashville. Her background in marketing and event management, coupled with her proficiency in QuickBooks and client bill pay, positions her as an exceptional office manager and client bookkeeper.

We are quickly approaching our deadline to have all documents to us to avoid an extension. If you would like us to file your return before April 18th please have your documents to us no later than March 20th.

We have just over 5 weeks of tax season left! Whew!

Just get your tax documents to us no later than August 15th for corporate and September 15th for individual.
