First of all Happy New Year to all our clients!! We look forward to helping you with your tax needs this year. Tuesday, Staci, Tyler, Larry and Dick are staying up with the tax laws and we are working on the year end letters and organizers. They will be sent out in the next week or so.

You will see that we are changing some of our procedures for getting us your tax information. We are sending everyone the forms that we require to be signed. We are asking you to read and sign them at home. Then add the signed forms to your tax papers you need to bring to us.

We are trying to limit face to face meetings as much as possible. Of course, if necessary we will make exceptions where needed. We ask that you drop your information in an envelope through the mail slot in our door, mail them to us, or upload your information to our secure portal on swiftcoopergraham.com. We ask you NOT to email anything that has personal information for security purposes.

We are so proud of our Tyler Johnson!! Please send positive thoughts his way today to pass his last and final test to become a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT!!! We know he will pass it with flying colors. Looking forward to hanging his certificate on the wall.

Hard to believe it will be 4th of July in two days but here we are with half of 2020 done.

Just wanted to let everyone know that our office will be closed tomorrow Friday July 3rd in celebration of the holiday!! We will open backup on Monday the 6th.

We wish everyone a safe and Happy 4th of July.

UPDATED TAX RETURN INFO 03/20/20.....
Federal tax return filing date for individuals and businesses has been pushed out to 07/15/2020. We have not received information concerning MO state returns yet but will be advising as information comes available.

Happy Thursday everyone!! We hope you are all well! In keeping with all the happenings of the last week, we want to assure our clients we will do all we can to keep everyone safe!!

To do this we are limiting face to face interviews. If you feel you need to meet with one of our accountants please call the office to schedule an appointment!! We have other ways for you to send us your information such as MAILING it to us or SCANNING AND UPLOADING it to a secure portal on our website. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SENDING SENSITIVE INFORMATION IN AN EMAIL AS AN ATTACHMENT.

The Treasury Department and the IRS are providing special payment relief so any individual tax payments are due July 15th. We can FILE AN EXTENSION to allow more time to complete your returns.

Our firm is also prepared in the event we need to operate from outside our office with the necessary equipment, and backup systems, that will allow our employees to work remotely in compliance with our Disaster Recovery Plan and other policies.

Our top priorities are the health and safety of our employees and clients. We will continue to monitor recommendations from health experts and the government, both State and Local, and will do our very best to maintain the quality and timeliness of our services to you.

Instead of Red Friday, Swift Cooper & Graham decided to do Red Saturday today!!! We tailgated and Scott (Cooper) grilled hamburgers (ON FEB 1st you all)!!! Everyone else brought sides and we sent good vibes and cheers to the Chiefs!!!! As they are gearing up to win the Super Bowl we are gearing up for another great tax season!! GO CHIEFS!!!! ❤️🏈

It is that time of year again for tax season. As of last week our office is now open 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturdays until mid April of 2020. Please call 417-451-2717 to set up appointments with one of our accountants. Tuesday Graham, Staci Cooper, and Tyler Johnson will be available during the times above and Larry Swift will be available for appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays. We all look forward to serving our clients during this tax season!!
