Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting has been deemed unnecessary

The reporting deadline was 1/1/2025, however, in recent events Appeals Court has concluded that FinCEN no longer has the ability to enforce the reporting requirements! Here are a couple links to track the progress.

My personal opinion, don’t file it, it’s a breach of personal info that the IRS already has. If the decision is appealed again, I will reach out to all my clients to file the BOI reports. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
