Yesterday marked the official retirement of our co-founder and financial advisor, Mike Grau.

For 26 years in the financial services industry, Mike built his career on a simple habit: listening more than talking. He genuinely loved getting to know each client's unique story.

As Gandhi put it, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others," and that's exactly how Mike led his career.

Mike will be deeply missed around the office, but now he gets to focus on what matters most to him — golf, travel, and time with his wife Kim and daughters Hannah and Madison.

Congratulations, Mike. You've earned it!

Managing Partner, Vaughan Scott was in LA for a conference last week and caught Switzerland vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Cup. He was joined by Peggy Abraham, the writer behind Axiom's newsletters. It was a dramatic 4-1 finish, with all the goals coming in the final 30 minutes.
