It is about your stimulus you ALREADY received.
If you have already completed your taxes and answered the question about the stimulus that you received it, there is nothing else that needs done.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Wanted to let you know some news from the IRS.

If you are still waiting for your original refund you are not alone.

A recent report, released by the National Taxpayer Advocate, revealed that the IRS ended the 2021 filing season with more than 35 million unprocessed tax returns. This includes roughly 16.8 million paper tax returns and around 15.8 million returns that have been suspended pending further review. An additional 2.7 million amended returns mean that the backlog is nearly three times larger than the same point in 2020.

If your waiting for the Unemployment adjustment.

The Internal Revenue Service announced it will issue another round of refunds this week to nearly 4 million taxpayers who overpaid their taxes on unemployment compensation received last year.

Also

The federal Child Tax Credit is slated to begin its first monthly cash payments on July 15, when the IRS will begin disbursing checks to eligible families with children ages 17 or younger.
