To all my clients that haven't filed for 2024:

Please reach out to me this week if you want to meet the extended filing date of November 3.

After much consideration, and with a heavy heart, I have decided to temporarily close.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to you, my clients. However, I need some time to reevaluate whether or not I want to continue doing this.

If I decide to continue, I will be implementing new policies and pricing across the board. I will be in touch with each of you individually to discuss whether or not those will be a fit for your business and/or individual needs.

If I decide to close, I will also be in touch with each of you to provide ample notice so you have time to find a new accountant.

In the meantime, if you have an appointment scheduled with me, I will keep the appointment. If you have tax deadlines, and I do not need anything from you to file the returns, they will be filed with no action required from you, as usual. If action on your behalf is required, I have already reached out to you and it will be up to you to get in touch with me to get that taken care of.

I will not be providing any services to anyone in addition to that during the closure. I do not plan for it to take longer than three weeks for me to make a decision.

If I asked you to wait until after April 15 due to the automatic extension for KY residents, I will be in touch soon.

If you still need to file and we haven't talked, I will be available starting next Monday to discuss it with you, so please reach out!

If you haven't yet reached out to me about your 2024 taxes and you would like to file by April 15, please reach out to me by the end of this weekend (March 30) or I will definitely not be able to get you in until after.

Please note, if you are KY resident, the IRS has declared the state of KY a disaster area and extended all due dates to November 3.

If you are not a KY resident, please reach out asap.

This is for existing clients only. I will not be taking on any new clients between now and April 15.

Tax season is officially here!

I am also working outside the house now, so I have installed a secure dropbox next to my door so y'all can drop your tax info off at your convenience (but please let me know).

The minimum fee this year for a basic return is $150.
