And yesterday while unpacking books, got the packet of Mom's poems Sister #2 compiled and also the poem Mom wrote 1st Thanksgiving she couldn't join us.

Someone on FB said my mom was their new hero.
I told of how Beryl would take us to register to vote on our 18th birthday and go to lunch or something. She told me registering to vote was a celebration and voting was an obligation.
