Dorsey & Company is a New Orleans based securities Firm, which since its founding in 1959 has been serving the needs of multiple generations of Gulf South investors. Locally owned and operated the firm was founded by George P. Dorsey whose son Philip J. Dorsey, serves as president today. I wanted a local firm that combines the capabilities of a large national firm with the best practices of a smaller esteemed firm. Dorsey & company is duly registered as both a broker-dealer and an investment adviser registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and various states.
