The Shang 💸 early retirement + frugality are team shared finances with a few exceptions..

- my business money stays with the business until I know what to pay myself end of year, then it gets comingled
- if I get an inheritance from my parents the trust would skip hubby and pass to our kids when I pass

Also, I NEVER recommend shared finances when there is in the marriage. I also never recommend shared finances before marrying.

I also completely understand when people later in life don't wish to combine finances.
But in general, if you're working towards a big goal, it should be together.
