APPO and GECF will proceed next Monday, July 20, 2026 to the historic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
The solemn signing ceremony which will take place in Brazzaville at the APPO Secretariat, will see the exchange of initials between H.E. Mr. Farid Ghezali, SG of APPO and H.E. Dr. Philip Mshelbila, SG of GECF. The Minister of Hydrocarbons of the Republic of Congo, H.E. Stev Simplice Onanga is the guest of honor of the ceremony.
The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) based in Doha, Qatar, is an organization representing the world's leading gas exporting nations. The MoU between APPO and GECF covers areas of interest for cooperation between the two Organizations.

La cérémonie solennelle de signature qui aura lieu à Brazzaville au Secrétariat de l’APPO, verra l’échange de parapheurs entre SE M. Farid Ghezali, SG de l’APPO et SE Dr Philip Mshelbila SG du GECF. Le Forum des Pays Exportateurs de Gaz (GECF) base à Doha, au Qatar, est une organisation représentant les principales nations exportatrices de gaz au monde. Le protocole d’accord entre APPO et GECF couvre des domaines d’intérêt pour la cooperation entre les deux Organisations.

APPO supports the « Brazza 10km » which will take place next Sunday, July 19, 2026 in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo).

The Director of the Race, Mr. Derrick Kadza, was received with his team in audience Yesterday, July 15, 2026 at the premises of the Secretariat in Brazzaville.

Organized by Maison Colibri, the Brazza 10km aims to bring together 2000 participants around sporting values, while creating a bridge between the diaspora and the Congolese in the interior.

By becoming a partner of the event, APPO is demonstrating its commitment to the values of inclusiveness, solidarity, sustainable development and health promotion through sports practice that this project supports.

Le Directeur de la Course, M. Derrick Kadza a été reçu avec son équipe en audience hier 15 juillet 2026 dans les locaux du Secrétariat à Brazzaville.

Organisé par Maison Colibri, le10km Brazza vise à rassembler 2000 participants autour des valeurs sportives, tout en créant un pont entre la diaspora et les congolais de l’intérieur.
