Your Refund Awaits!
The standard deduction amounts have changed for tax year 2025. You can expect to have a little more knocked off your taxable income when you file your return.

Keep in mind that the standard deduction is the amount that the IRS allows to directly lower your taxable income.

Tax credits on the other hand, will lower the amount of taxes you will end up paying.

As you get ready to file, make a checklist of all the documents you should be expecting so that you don't file an incomplete return.
