If you filed an extension for your 2025 individual tax return, the extended filing deadline is October 15, 2026.

As a reminder, if you filed for an extension, it only gave you more time to file your return; it did not give you more time to pay any taxes.

Here are a few important reminders about the upcoming extended filing deadline:

🔹The sooner you file, the better. And, if you still owe taxes, interest and penalties may already be accruing.
🔹There are no further extensions. October 15th is the final deadline to file your 2025 extended return.
🔹Review your return carefully before filing. Missing documents, incorrect income information, or overlooked deductions can delay processing and may require an amended return later.

If you have questions about your return or need help preparing before the deadline, please contact our office. We’re here to help.

Our team can help you organize your records, understand taxable events, review cost-basis details, and prepare accurate reporting for your crypto activity. Whether you have a few transactions or a more complex digital asset portfolio, we are here to make the process clearer. Swipe for more information.
