Hey Everybody,
I just wanted to post this to share some info about the recent stimulus bill that passed. For small businesses the SBA( Small Business Adminsitration) is providing an Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance up to $10,000. It mentions that funds will be made available within three days of a successful application, and this loan advance will NOT have to be repaid. 🤯. I’m sure there are a ton of entrepreneurs and business owners experiencing a decrease in revenue which can be stressful. I hope that you check out this information and apply. Go to sba.gov/page/disaster-loan-applications Feel free to DM if you need any help. I’ve been contacting my self employed clients to spread the info. Hope you are all staying safe out there.

Unfortunately there are a lot of scammers out there.
Please be careful if you supposedly receive a call from the IRS. The IRS’s first method of contact will always be a letter to your address on file. If you receive a call from the IRS for payment over the phone beware because it’s a SCAM!
Share this information to other people so that they can be aware too! It’s understandable that a call from the IRS could scare almost everyone. Which is why a lot of people fall into this trap. Be safe out there !

El IRS inicia la mayoría de sus comunicaciones por medio de correspondencia regular enviada por el correa postal de Estados Unidos.
Sin embargo existen circunstancias especiales donde el IRS puede llamarle o visitarlo en persona a su residencia o negocio.
Tomo en cuente que el IRS nunca va exigir un método específico de pago, como un tarjeta debito prepagada, tarjeta de regalo o giro bancario o pide numberos de tarjeta débito de crédito por teléfono.
También exigir que pague los impuestos sin darle la oportunidad de cuestionar o apelar la cantidad que dicen que adeuda.
Por favor ten cuidado con los llamadas recibidos que supuestamante son del IRS.
Mas seguro es una fraude!

If you file your taxes late you may want to check this video out !
When you file late the IRS will charge the following penalties:
Failure to file on time
Failure to pay on time

The penalty for filing late is normally 5 percent of the unpaid taxes for each month or part of a month that a tax return is late which can easily add up.
The IRS may provide administrative relief that would otherwise be applicable under its First Time Penalty Abatement policy.

You may qualify for administrative relief from penalties for failing to file a tax return if the following are true:
You didn’t previously have to file a return or you have no penalties for the 3 tax years prior to the tax year in which you received a penalty.
You files all currently required returns or files an extension of time to file.
You have paid, or arranged for pay, any tax due.

You can call 8008291040 when you receive your tax bill and ask them to remove this failure to file penalty. Just remember that it’s only for one time. Takeaway of the video :

Tax season is right around the corner! This is an announcement for you business owners out there with an S-Corp. Make sure that you file by March 15th 2020!
If you file your S Corporation income tax return late, the late filing penalty is $195 per MONTH multiplied by the number of corporate shareholders. Just a thought on my mind before heading out of the office.
