🚨 NEW CHANGES FOR THE 2026 TAX YEAR! 🚨
These changes will affect the tax returns filed in 2027:
💰 Standard deductions increased:
• Single or Married Filing Separately: $16,100
• Head of Household: $24,150
• Married Filing Jointly: $32,200
👶 The maximum Earned Income Tax Credit increases to $8,231 for eligible taxpayers with three or more qualifying children.
💵 Eligible tipped workers may deduct up to $25,000 in qualified tips.
⏰ Eligible workers may deduct up to $12,500 in qualified overtime—or $25,000 for married couples filing jointly.
🚗 Some taxpayers may deduct up to $10,000 in qualified interest paid on a personal vehicle loan.
👵🏽 Eligible seniors age 65 and older may receive an additional deduction of up to $6,000.
❤️ Taxpayers who do not itemize may deduct up to $1,000 in qualified charitable contributions—or $2,000 for married couples filing jointly.
Remember: These deductions have specific qualifications and income limitations. “No tax” does not automatically mean every dollar is tax-free!
