The IRS opens for electronic filing of individual income tax returns on Monday, January 26th. As many are aware, The “One, Big, Beautiful Bill Act” created many changes, including what is commonly referred to as no tax on overtime. If your employer does not provide a separate statement with qualified overtime, nor breaks out qualified overtime as a separate line item on W-2, we will need your final paystub of 2025 in order to calculate the correct amount of deduction.

Just a reminder for those that may not know. The IRS has extended the filing deadline for our area to May 1, 2025 and VA is extended to June 1, 2025.
Also, various counties in WV have until November 3, 2025.
