We were glad Judy Mosher could join community members at National Night Out in Norwalk. 💚

The event, sponsored by the Norwalk Police Department, is part of a nationwide campaign to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, with the goal of making neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.

Norwalk Kiwanis distributed 140 helmets to local kids during the event.

We're proud to support an event that benefits the Sandusky Central Catholic School Education Foundation and helps make a positive impact in our community.

Have you updated your mileage records? The IRS has.

Effective July 1, 2026, the IRS increased the standard mileage rates for the remainder of the year due to rising fuel costs.

Here's what changed:
🚗 Business: 72.5¢ → 76¢ per mile
🏥 Medical & Moving: 20.5¢ → 23.5¢ per mile
❤️ Charitable: Remains 14¢ per mile

If you use the standard mileage rate for tax purposes, be sure you're applying the correct rate based on when the travel occurred. Trips before July 1 use the old rates, while trips on or after July 1 use the new rates.

Accurate mileage tracking can help ensure you're claiming the deductions you're entitled to.
