Hey, business owners! Benny has a little reminder for you! 🐦

When you save a receipt for a business meal, don’t just toss it in your bookkeeping pile and call it a day!

✍️ Jot down these important details:
✅ Who attended the meal?
✅ What business purpose did it serve?
✅ What business relationship did you discuss?
✅ When and where did it happen?

Keep the itemized receipt, too! A credit card statement alone may not provide all the details you need.

📸 Benny’s bonus tip: Snap a picture of your receipt before it fades or disappears!

I am Denise Kean, owner of Bluebird Tax & Accounting. My son Riley Kean is a Bookkeeper in our office and will also be helping out during tax season.
