📣 IRS Update: Tax Payments & Refunds Are Changing 💻💰
The IRS has announced a move toward electronic payments instead of paper checks. Over the next couple of years, the goal is for refunds and payments to be handled digitally whenever possible.
💡 What this means for most people:
💵 Tax refunds will be sent by direct deposit or other electronic methods
🔐 Electronic payments are faster, safer, and more reliable than paper checks
🧾 Filing your taxes won’t change — this is about how money is sent or received
👉 What you should do now:
🏦 If you typically receive a refund, make sure your bank information is up to date when you file.
