National Father-Daughter Take a Walk Day reminds me of the many walks my daughter, Raven, and I have shared through the years. We’ve walked along the beach, around my graduation celebration, to and from school, and even to father-daughter dances. These special moments together are memories I will always cherish. Spending this time with my beautiful daughter Raven is something I truly look forward to every year.

I’m proud to celebrate Sandy’s graduation from Cohort 7 in July 2026. As a Cohort 5 graduate myself, followed by my wife, Wendy, and Operations Manager, Aide, in Cohort 6, it has been rewarding to see our team continue growing through this outstanding program. The Oceanside Leadership Academy develops future leaders by strengthening leadership skills, building community connections, and encouraging civic engagement. It was an honor to spend the evening after the Oceanside USA 250 Festival with the Marine Riders Teufel Hunden at the 2026 Nationals. The weekend provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people who quickly became family, and celebrate the camaraderie that makes this organization so special. It was inspiring to see Marine Rider chapters from across the country come together for a memorable gathering built on friendship, service, and shared experiences. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event truly unforgettable. 🇺🇸

It was a privilege to be part of the Oceanside USA 250 Festival, a wonderful community event celebrating America’s 250th birthday. The festival brought together families, local businesses, military members, civic leaders, and visitors for a day of connection and community pride. I was especially grateful to attend with my wife and daughter, who did an amazing job helping set up our table and supporting throughout the day. Moments like these are a great reminder of why I enjoy serving and staying involved in the community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the event such a success. 🇺🇸

🎒 Help a Military Child Start the School Year Strong

A new backpack may seem small, but for military families facing financial challenges, it can make a world of difference.

From June 15 – July 15, STEP is collecting new backpacks and school supplies to help military-connected students head back to school prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

📚 Donate a backpack filled with supplies or contribute financially to help us purchase what’s needed most.
