A special shout-out to Cathy and Stephanie this Administrative Professionals Day!

We have always believed that someone in the tax and accounting industry must have created Administrative Professionals Day, because it comes right on the heels of tax season — and honestly, there is no better time to recognize the people who help hold everything together.

After another busy season of calls, scheduling, paperwork, deadlines, and keeping all of us organized, we are incredibly grateful for everything Cathy and Stephanie do for our team and our clients.

Good Monday Morning! 511ia.org looks apocalyptic at this hour - every state road has impacts with I-35 north closed from Ames to the Minnesota border and I-80 east/west closed from the I-880 Interchange to Iowa City/Coralville.

Northwest to nearly all of eastern Iowa are in "Travel Not Advised" (purple) status. The Blizzard Warning has been extended until 10 a.m.

Roads are sssssslick, winds are ssssstrong, and temps are fffffrigid.

Stay in place unless you have emergency and let crews do their work!

Roads reports are dicy in Buchanan and Fayette counties. If you have morning appointments or planned to stop by our offices today, February 20th, please consider calling ahead.
We WILL be open but staff may be delayed as we want them to arrive safely, first and foremost!

Good Morning Iowa - Few counties were untouched in the wide path of yesterday's storm. As we start the day:

* Western I-80 sections are purple-Travel Not Advised.
* Most Iowa roads are partial to completely snow covered.
* A few in far northern and southern Iowa are partial to completely ice covered.
