After leaving the corporate business world with over 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting, Sheril opened her own small business as an independent financial advisor, who also offered life insurance. Five years ago, Sheril and her family experienced one of those “unexpected moments” that life gives us. She had a catastrophic stroke and extensive rehab, which would have had devastating cons

equences financially, physically, and emotionally if she had not planned ahead. Because of this experience she has shifted her focus to working with people in preparing for life’s unexpected moments, with their personal financial health, physical health, and business legacy.

Yom Kippur is a day to reflect on our actions over the past year. The concept is rooted in the belief in the individual's responsibility to correct their behavior and maintain a harmonious relationship with God and fellow human beings. The day is intended to bring about a deep sense of humility, remorse over misdeeds, and a commitment to doing better in the coming year.
