Had a very successful appointment with a first-year tax client today. His business has become more and more profitable year after year, but his previous tax preparer mostly just took the information provided and filed the return without asking many questions.

This year, we sat down and discussed tax strategies that actually made sense for someone in his position and business stage. By the end of the appointment, we were able to save him over $13,000.

Moments like this remind me why I love what I do — helping people understand their finances, educating them on their options, and ultimately saving them money.

Of course, tax strategies are never one-size-fits-all. Every person, business, and tax return is different. What works well for one client may not work for another.

Happy tax day to all and to all a good night.

Thank you everybody for an amazing tax year. It was the biggest most successful year that I’ve ever had. Approximately 650 2025 return returns completed and accepted along with approximately 50 returns for all past years. Over 700 returns total. What an amazing accomplishment. Thank you everyone who I have had the pleasure of working with.

My office will be closed from the 16th to the 27th so that our office staff can have some rest after this busy time.

 I will also be out of town from May 15 through the 27th

‘Twas the night before the tax deadline, when all through the firm
Not a creature was stirring, not even the worm (in the 1099s).
The extensions were filed by the preparers with care,
In hopes that the IRS wouldn’t audit them there.
The clients were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of refunds danced in their heads.
And Mama in her sweatpants, and I with my beer,
Had just settled our brains for a post-April 15th cheer.
