For a long time, I thought leadership meant being visible, articulate, and always one step ahead. It meant proving, explaining, and staying on.

This image represents a shift.

It reflects a season where I no longer lead from urgency or performance, but from presence. Where I trust what I know, what I’ve lived, and what I carry without needing to make constant eye contact with the world for validation.

In life and in business, I now build from being.

Being grounded before being busy.
Being clear before being loud.
Being aligned before being impressive.

The flowers feel intentional. They represent growth that happens naturally when you’re rooted, not rushed. When you allow things to unfold rather than force them into bloom.

This is how I lead. This is how I work with clients. This is how I live.

Not striving to be seen.

Resting and recharging isn’t something you do “when you have time.”
It’s something you prioritize.
It’s a business strategy.

Here’s why rest is non-negotiable for business owners:

1️⃣ Your nervous system is your most valuable asset. No nervous system regulation = reactive decisions, short tempers, shallow thinking.
Rest puts you back in response mode instead of survival mode.

2️⃣ Rest sharpens strategy, not slows it down.
Your clearest ideas don’t come from pushing harder. They come when your brain has space to connect dots, see patterns, and choose wisely.

Let’s be honest: I built my business to revolve around my life — not the other way around.
As a single mom (since 2019) raising a daughter 95% of the time while building a business from the ground up (since 2017), I knew I had to do it differently.

Not by hustle culture’s standards.
Not in a way that made sense to most people.
Definitely not in a way that would win popular approval.

🙌🏼 It’s my favorite month.
🩷 The month of love.
🥳 Abbey’s birthday month.

When she was 4, I wrote something I loved about her every day in the month of February on an index card & taped it to her bathroom mirror.

Those words of affirmation & love stayed up for 2 years. 😳🥰

This year, I want to teach her more about SELF LOVE rather than seeking feeling loved by others.

Every day we will write down one thing we love about ourselves, chat about it, & put it on the wall.
