Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is in full swing and runs through December 7th. If you are on Medicare, it's always advisable to review your plan for next year. Plans change, doctors go in and out of network and drug formularies change. Don't wait till January to find out that something that was covered last year isn't going to be next year.

Also, for those under 65, ACA Marketplace AEP begins tomorrow and runs through December 15th. Same advice holds as for Medicare plans. You have the opportunity to make a plan change and should review your options with a professional.

If you are on a Bright Health plan, then it's imperative that you change plans. Bright Health is pulling out of the Florida market at the end of the year and if you are currently in one of their plans and don't take action, you will be automatically enrolled in a random plan (called gift enrollment), without regard to provider networks or drug formularies.
