September is College Savings Month!

We all know how quickly the years go by. College may feel far away now, but those years have a way of sneaking up on you!

There are a few different ways to save for a child’s future:

🎓 529 Plan: A tax-advantaged account designed to help save for education expenses.

💰 UTMA Account: An account set up for a child that can be used for more than just education. The assets become theirs once they reach the applicable age under state law.

📈 Custodial Roth IRA: If the child has earned income, this is a retirement account that can be opened on their behalf and offers the potential for tax-free growth.

🏦 Traditional Savings Account: A simple and flexible way to set money aside without limiting what it can be used for later.
