Hello friends and clients! This is the third year now that we've had this blessing and a curse. We are at the point once again where we can no longer take any new clients until after April 15th in order to leave room for regular clients. We can not even file extensions for new clients. People who were with us last year, and new clients who have already made appointments will still be taken care of before 4/15. We thank you for your support and understanding.

Hello friends and clients! We hope you all are doing well! A few notes to start off the year.

1. Filing season starts on Monday, 1/26. You can call to schedule now but we will not offer appointments before then. Calling the office at 607-843-5444 is still the best way for us to schedule.

2. We will be taking new clients but in the past couple of years have had to stop doing so after a month or so of tax season to preserve spots for returning clients. We will post here if that happens again.

3. If you were paid time and a half overtime in 2025, you will need to bring the paystub from the last check you received in 2025 in order for us to calculate the new overtime deduction. Most w2s will not have this information on them this year. If you were paid overtime at a rate higher than 1.5, we will need to see if that rate is listed separately from what was paid at 1.5 as the calculation will be different.

Hello friends and clients! Just as we did last year around this time, we have had to come to the unfortunate (perhaps fortunate for us) conclusion that we are no longer able to take on new clients until after April 15th. New clients may still drop off papers if they are okay with waiting until after 4/15. Regular clients and those who were new to us last year are still welcome to make appointments or drop off their papers and we will take care of them before the April 15th deadline. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello friends and clients! The IRS announced today that this year's e-filing season will begin on Monday, January 27th. Those participating in the free-file program can already file but if using a paid service such as us, it's the 27th. We look forward to seeing and hearing from you soon!
