We know it’s been a little while since we’ve posted, but the last week has been anything but normal for our community.
Our office is currently still without power following Hurricane Isaias, so for now, our focus has shifted to helping our neighbors, clients, friends, and others throughout the community as cleanup and recovery efforts continue.
We do have a little bit of good news to share.
Yesterday, the IRS announced disaster tax relief for individuals and businesses in 27 Florida counties affected by the hurricane, including Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties. Many federal tax filing and payment deadlines that fall within the covered period have now been extended until February 8, 2027.
That gives our clients…and us…one less thing to worry about while our community works to recover.
As soon as power is restored to our office, we will be back to responding to emails, TaxDome portal messages, and getting back to business as usual. Until then, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
If we are still without power by Monday, we will post another update here.
Most importantly, we hope you and your families are safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has experienced damage or loss, and with all of the linemen, first responders, volunteers, businesses, and neighbors working around the clock to help our community recover.
