Hello Everyone! It continues to be difficult for small businesses until the Governor Opens Illinois. Don't be too quick to open - some of the other nations are having new infections because they opened too soon.
Continue to watch out for COV ID-19 scams. If it sounds too good - check the source or just don't do it.

Welcome to the new year! Hope everyone will have a wonderful and safe year. Filing season is approaching fast. The IRS will be accepting e-filing starting early Feb. New W-4 Forms are out. You may want to visit IRS.gov and check out the new form. If you owed taxes last filing season you may want to fill out a new 2020 W-4.

Well tax season is over and its on to extensions! Lots of changes to get used to - some of my clients are having trouble understanding the new rules and real estate taxes and mortgage interest. I don't feel the Federal or the State Governments did a good job explaining the changes. I am sure we will see better explanations and more details as the year goes on.

Tax Season is here! New tax laws from 2018 are here as well. The new forms for 2018 are interesting. Some of my clients are getting larger refunds and some are having to pay for the first time. Its an interesting season so far.
