We’ve been open for two weeks now, and we are BLOWN AWAY by the community response to our restaurant. To thank the community, we have committed to bring lunch to kids quarantined at Palm Beach Childrens’ Hospital every Monday for four consecutive weeks! Thanks so much to everyone for all of the support as our little taco shop gets rolling!

Many of our clients are sharing the same frustrations at this time. Some banks have been quicker than others in securing funding for PPP applications. Wondering if this is wide spread or if this item is specific to only a few 🧐🤔?

As demand spikes for federal funds, new guidance and stalled payouts from the SBA on its Economic Injury Disaster Loans and advance grants are adding to frustrations and fears on Main Street.

Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday announced the activation of the Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program.

Florida small businesses with two to 100 employees that suffered an economic loss can apply for up to a $50,000, interest-free loan with a one-year term. The application period runs through May 8.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced on Tuesday that Americans who owe taxes can defer their payment for 90 days, interest and penalty free, up to $1 million.

The tax-filing deadline will remain April 15, but the IRS will waive penalties and interest on tax payments for 90 days.

If you think you are owed a refund, they are encouraging you to go ahead and file right away.

If you want to get your tax refund, you need to file your return. And if you owe taxes, you'll still have to pay them at some point.

Update from the AICPA on the Tax Filing Deadline:

Based upon our conversations, we anticipate that Treasury and the IRS will announce this week an extension of the April 15th deadline by as much as 90 days, and a waiver of penalties and interest for most taxpayers.

Additionally, Treasury and the IRS are aware of the major deadline for businesses tomorrow, March 16th, and the challenges facing taxpayers and tax preparers in meeting that deadline. They have indicated that they would be generous in determining reasonable cause abatement of any penalties for taxpayers and tax preparers unable to file in a timely manner.
