I had the pleasure of treating some wonderful clients and a special guest to a mani/pedi evening. We relaxed, enjoyed wine and mimosas, laughed, and spent quality time together. It's moments like these that remind me how grateful I am for the incredible relationships I've built through my business.

Today I had the opportunity to attend the PCB Chamber Women's Series and hear from Kaydee Albritton about her journey to becoming a CEO She is currently 33 years old.
She shared several lessons on leadership, hard work, mentorship, and staying true to your values. While there were many great takeaways, one quote stood out to me:
"People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." –

As someone who works with families making important financial decisions, this was a timely reminder that people may not remember every conversation or recommendation, but they will remember how you made them feel. My hope is that every client I work with feels heard, respected, valued, and genuinely cared for.

A lot of small businesses want to offer benefits to keep good employees, but group health insurance can feel too expensive to start with.
The good news is you do not have to do everything at once.
Affordable ancillary benefits like:

• Life insurance
can still give employees meaningful protection and show them you care.
You can also add retirement options like SIMPLE IRAs or other workplace retirement plans to help employees invest in their future.
Sometimes the businesses that retain employees the best are simply the ones making an effort to offer support and long-term value.
