A tax deduction reduces your taxable income. It does not make the vehicle free.
Before buying a vehicle for tax purposes, consider:
• Business use percentage
• Cash flow
• Financing
• Whether the purchase actually benefits your business
The best tax strategy is still making smart business decisions.

Done doesn't mean careless.
It means moving forward.
Your bookkeeping doesn't have to be perfect on day one.
Your business doesn't have to be perfect either.
Progress has a funny way of compounding.

Better yet... just inactivate that account.
"General Business Expenses" doesn't tell you anything about where your money is actually going.
Was it:
• Advertising?
• Office supplies?
• Software?
• Meals?
• Professional fees?
• Education?
• Travel?
The category matters.
It helps you understand your business, makes your financial reports more meaningful, and saves your CPA from playing detective at tax time.
And while QuickBooks is great at a lot of things, categorizing transactions correctly isn't always one of them.
