My little Brother Vic Alan Campbell
Born 9-24-1964 Died 6-8-2023
Born to Shirley and Boo Campbell, Vic was the youngest of the Campbell kids.
He enjoyed sports and was a pitcher for his Little League Baseball teams. Although he was benched a lot for cussing, he would still be chosen for the All Star team. He would make straight A’s in school, but a F in conduct. That was Vic! Vic was great at playing darts and pool, winning most tournaments. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Vic worked in the Heat Treatment business, like his brother Hookem and brotherinlaw Alan. He made a lot of friends in the business and was very well respected. The numerous condolences from the industry have been overwhelming but greatly appreciated.
Vic’s greatest joy was his son Joseph. As he would say “my son”. Everything he did, the last 20 years, was for Joseph. He took them on tropical vacations and cruises. They had some great times together.
A few years ago, Vic was told he had cancer. Instead of seeking treatment, he decided to do it his way….and he did.
Vic Alan Campbell is preceded in death by his wife Rosa Campbell, the only woman he ever loved; also his parents Shirley and Boo Campbell, two brothers Jimmy and Hookem Campbell, his niece Angel Wilburn and his brotherinlaw Robert Hobbs.
He leaves behind a son Joseph Dillon Campbell and five sisters Eugenia Cano, Rita Hobbs, Vicki San Angelo, Anita (Alan) Thomas, Tammy (Manuel) Pues and his Sisterinlaw Cheryl Campbell. Step-children Stephanie Venable, Mike Kinsey and David Kinsey.
Vic also leaves two Aunts, Pat Sweeden and Betty Woodley, nieces and nephews Eric Campbell, Jeremy Campbell, Liz Dickey, Daniel Campbell, Shane Campbell, Ryan Cano, Jennie Cano, Tommy Hobbs, Rhett San Angelo, Christina Diaz, Michael Tangedahl, Angela Moncus, Stephanie Sandlin and Heather Jones.
And numerous great nephews and nieces . Graveside service at the Campbell Cemetery to be announced.
