📣 A little breathing room after Hurricane Isaias! 💙

The following extended filing deadlines apply ONLY to taxpayers who qualify for IRS disaster relief related to Hurricane Isaias—not everyone in Florida or Alabama.

📍 FLORIDA: FEBRUARY 8, 2027
📍 ALABAMA: FEBRUARY 4, 2027

Eligible taxpayers with a valid extension for their 2025 individual federal income tax return receive additional time to file.

☕ Take a breath—but please don’t let your paperwork go into hibernation! Keep sending your documents and signing your e-file authorizations so we can keep things moving.

📌 Eligibility depends on the locations and circumstances covered by the applicable IRS disaster notice. These dates do not automatically apply statewide.

📌 This relief does not extend the payment deadline for 2025 individual income taxes that were due April 15, 2026.
Unsure whether you qualify? Contact our Pharr CPA team to confirm your deadline.

Stay safe and take care of each other! 💙

Close out 2025. Plan confidently for what comes next.

Tomorrow, October 15, marks the standard extended filing deadline for 2025 individual
federal income tax returns.

Before the deadline:
• Submit any remaining documents• Review your completed return.
• Sign Form 8879 if your preparer has requested it.

If you cannot pay your full tax balance, filing on time still matters. It helps avoid failure-to-file penalties, while IRS payment arrangements may help you address the amount owed. An extension to file generally does not extend the payment deadline.

At Pharr CPA, our support continues beyond filing day. Let’s review your 2026 tax picture and identify planning opportunities before year-end.
